According to some of Artico & NYGL’s club members, Mr. Jeon had a very difficult time persuading the most famous art producer & Singer in South Korea to be enthralled in teaching. “Mr. Jeon sent more than 40 emails to the executives of NAVER CONNECT foundation, asking if there is any way he could invite Mr. Yoon… he also left face book messages to Mr. Yoon every day, writing about his keen interest towards studio and visual art and how meaningful his lectures would be if Mr. Yoon came to Daewon on behalf of Artico and NYGL ” said Mr. Han, a freshman at Daewon and a passionate member of Artico.
In an interview, Mr. Jeon claimed “I wanted my club members to feel proud of Artico and be more passionate about art. I believe that in the 21th century art involved in entertainment such as studio art or art producing will be predominant… after all society is no longer moribund, it is constantly evolving ”
The lecture by Mr. Yoon lasted for 2 hours followed by a punctilious thirty minutes Q&A session. Originally, the lecture was only supposed to last for an hour and a half, but Mr. Yoon’s passionate speech took the duration time longer.
The event came to its closing remarks after Artico’s group picture with Mr. Yoon and as he answered questions from the audience. Also presents were given to him: a bouquet and a cake with a cookie figure that looks exactly like Mr. Yoon.
“Mr Yoon’s lecture was very educational” said one member of NYGL. “Everyone was immersed in his lecture on how the art industry is changing and what kind of artistic aptitude the entertainment industry wants from its workers… I also learned that as fast as visual and studio art is improving every day, majoring in those fields will certainly be an advantage for the future.. I will like to thank my head manager for letting me have this opportunity and I will like to once more thank Mr. Yoon and all Artico & NYGL members”
