All BTS members are now serving the nation as soldiers.

On December 12, 2023, Jimin and Jungkook, members of BTS, entered military service, making them the last two members to do so.

Consequently, all BTS members are now soldiers in the national army.

BTS is a Korean boy idol group composed of 7 members: Jin, Sugar, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook.

BTS is managed by HYBE Entertainment, an entertainment lifestyle platform company that seeks to innovate the music industry business model under the mission, "We believe in music."

BTS has played a key role in promoting K-Pop around the globe.

BTS is renowned as a global artist group, having released music in several languages, including Korean, English, and Japanese.

Also, the members are known for their harmonious movements and attractive voices.

As a result, BTS has garnered a global fanbase and frequently holds global tours in cities such as Los Angeles, US; London, UK; Paris, France; Tokyo, Japan; Bangkok, Thailand; Sydney, Australia; Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; Santiago, Chile; and many more.

Since their debut in 2013, BTS has won countless global awards.

For example, they has received 50 wins at the MAMA Awards and have been nominated five times for the Grammy Awards.

Due to South Korean military law, which mandates that all able-bodied South Korean men aged 18-28 fulfill military obligations for 18 months, BTS members have been enlisting successively.

Jin, the oldest member, enlisted in December 2022.

Suga serves in the military as a public service worker.

J-Hope enlisted in April 2023.

RM and V entered the military on December 11, 2023.

Jungkook and Jimin, currently stationed at the Gyeonggi Yeoncheon 5th Division Recruitment Training Center, are expected to complete their military service in June 2025.

Therefore, BTS is scheduled to reunite as a group in 2025.

Naturally, the release of their new album is postponed until then.

Before their military enlistment, BTS prepared various content, including each member’s solo activities, for their fans to enjoy during their absence.

For instance, each member released a solo album before their enlistment.

Jungkook, in particular, was busy releasing numerous solo albums through collaborations with celebrities and directors such as Jack Harlow, Latto, and Drew Kirsch.

Jungkook maintained a demanding performance schedule until just a few days before his enlistment.

As V wrote, wishing fans well and happiness, he mentioned the challenge of not being able to create happy memories with fans for a while, which he found the hardest part.

RM, in his message, acknowledged potential loneliness during the 18 months but saw it as an opportunity to gain new inspiration and learn new things.

All BTS members and their fans bid a warm farewell, promising to meet again in the future.
