As the world watches anxiously, the candidate who becomes the most powerful man or woman on this planet will decide whether to support Ukraine in its long and deadly conflict.

It is a conflict that has been taking the lives of innocent citizens to this very second.

Ukraine without the support of the U.S will ultimately lose this war, as the U.S, despite its many negative experiences aiding foreign fights, is the sole nation that has enough power to stand in Russia's way.

The U.S primary election, also known as the ‘primary’ is an important deciding factor of the U.S president, and is now the ultimate decision maker that will determine if the U.S will still support Ukraine or not.

Even though there still are other processes left in order to become president, the primary is what passively decides which candidate will become the presidential candidate for a certain party.

Because the election itself decides the presidential candidate of a certain party, each candidate will be competing against each other and trying to win the primary as fast as possible.

As the U.S primary election continues, former president Donald Trump, who is actively expressing negative stances against military aid for Ukraine, is currently gaining the upper hand as the Republican nominee.

Donald Trump is very well known for his support of Russia, and has become a leading figure in the presidential election.

Donald John Trump, or Donald Trump for short, is the son of billionaire Frederick Trump, and was raised in a wealthy family. In the present, Trump is openly raising opinions about abandoning Ukraine, and even posting tweets that sympathize with Putin.

In other instances, he openly praised Putin for ‘Claiming back his lost land’ and that he supports the movement with full might.

This indicates that if Trump were to be elected president, his priority would be to leave Ukraine behind, and if that were to happen, what will come after is a complete catastrophe.

Although Trump has a high likelihood of winning the election, he still has numerous scandals to overcome , and those scandals are not easy to get out of.

However, if the Democratic candidate Joe Biden were to win the election, the Ukraine war might take an unexpected turn, as Biden will support Ukraine with all of his might, and even try to pull the nation's resources.

Joseph Robinette Biden, or Joe Biden, spent his entire life taking part in U.S politics . His first job was in the U.S Senate, working as the senator for his state. In 2008, he became Vice-President of the U.S.

During his career as Vice President , he was not recognized very well, but in 2020, he was elected President, achieving the dream of his lifetime.

Joe Biden, or known by his nickname as ‘Average Joe’, still has numerous opportunities to become re-elected this time, but as with Trump, he has many obstacles to overcome, since one third of the American people still do not accept his pro-Ukrainian stance.

The war, mostly known as the ‘Russo-Ukrainian’ war, started in 2022, when Russian forces invaded Ukraine because of a ‘special military operation’ planned by Putin himself.

Putin claimed that Ukraine had illegally claimed the Crimean territories and that the Russian military is ‘reclaiming’ their lost land.

He also claimed that the Ukrainians are descendants of Nazis to justify the invasion. The justifications were backed by ‘evidence’ that the Ukrainians worship Stephan Vandera, a Ukrainian Nazi well known for his positive stance on Nazism.

From that point , the ‘Russo-Ukraine’ war has dragged on . Although the Ukrainians have held an upper hand during months, Russian forces are currently preparing for a massive counterattack, which Ukraine is not ready for.

The result of the primaries for both the Democratic, and Republican parties will decide the fate of this war as we speak, and the new president of the U.S will have to decide the rest.
